The Business Development Coordinator (BDC) is responsible and accountable for producing committed scheduled appointments between our customers and our sales department. We offer a professional environment, ongoing training and many opportunities for learning, growth and career advancement.

Job Duties Include:

  • Attends regularly scheduled daily meetings within the department
  • Plans and prioritizes e-mail leads
  • Reviews advertisements published by the company and files the latest three weeks' worth of ads in a manner which makes them accessible and useful to achieve the overall goals of the department
  • Inputs and logs all activity regarding customer contact
  • Updates and purifies customer records
  • Remains up-to-date on all company developments, industry knowledge and standards
  • Makes out-going and answers in-coming telephone calls by using the company developed script to schedule committed appointments
  • Effectively acquires telephone numbers to be used in making out-going calls
  • Promptly and courteously answers in-coming phone calls
  • Communicates scheduled appointments to proper company representative
  • Performs administrative functions regarding the business development
  • Becomes familiar and understands the certification process
  • Works toward achieving certification
  • Maintains and manages customer data base by updating and generating prospects as well as ensuring the integrity of the database
  • Report to management any opportunity that arises.
  • Any other job task as requested by Management

Required Experience:

  • Proficiency with MS office programs
  • Outstanding communication skills both verbal and written
  • Professional appearance and work ethic
  • Great attitude with a high-energy personality
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Outstanding phone skills and follow-up
